Parents/guardians of pre-school 2-5 year old children may have already received the national letter to book their child's flu vaccination appointment.

COVID 19 VACCINATION
Patients in the 18-49 year age group registered with Kingsmills Practice who have not yet had a 1st dose will be contacted DIRECTLY by NHS Highland for their vaccinations. This is likely to be by 'blue envelope' in the post. Please don't contact the Practice as we won't be able to tell you when you will get your vaccine.
As always please don’t contact the Practice about your vaccine unless we have asked you to. This keeps our phone lines free for patients with urgent medical issues.

Covid Vaccination Registration and Appointments
The Practice is currently restricting access for the safety of all patients and staff temporarily. Patients should not come to the Practice, but should telephone us first. Staff will take details and signpost you to the correct person. It is important you tell the receptionist the reason for your call. A member of the clinical team will phone you back. Please remember our number will come up “withheld”/”private”. They may be able to deal with the problem over the phone or they might arrange a video consultation or arrange for you to be seen at the Practice. If your query is related to hospital waiting lists or follow-up please contact the relevant hospital department directly.
All patients will still have access to the care they require.
We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time. Our staff are also having to live with the restrictions due to the Pandemic so please treat them with respect as they are doing their best for you.
Currently other factors which are increasing pressure on our service include the backlog of non-urgent issues related to our period in lockdown also resources being diverted to the Covid vaccine programme. We also are experiencing an increase in patient contact due to patient queries regarding hospital services.

- Co-ordinate and provide free transport for veterans, helping them to combat loneliness and isolation, and providing access to important services.
- Can provide transport for any age group for essential reasons - this can cover anything from extreme isolation to health appointments and even assistance getting to benefits assessments, advice services, foodbanks etc...
- In short, if the referring partner feels the journey is of an essential nature for a veteran their family, we'll cover it. We are regularly at CAMHS for veterans' children.
- Journeys from Inverness, Moray and Aberdeen to Combat Stress or to tribunals in Edinburgh are not unusual either, whether it's a taxi all the way or help connecting at stations.
- Coverage includes Inverness, Moray, Aberdeen and surrounding areas
