If you require urgent medical attention or advice outside of normal surgery hours please call NHS24 by dialling 111.
Between 6pm and 8am Monday to Thursday and after 6pm Friday until 8am Monday morning please phone 111 (NHS24, freephone). The staff at NHS24 will ask you for information about your health and condition and will advise on the most appropriate course of action. This may include offering advice only or advising you to attend a pharmacy. If they feel you need to be seen they will pass your case to Highland Hub who will be in touch to arrange for you to attend the Urgent Care Centre in Inverness or in some cases provide a home visit.
Visit the website http://www.nhs24.com/
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Regular Education and Continuing Training
All Inverness practices participate in occasional training days which are well advertised in the local press and at the practice. On these days the practice will be closed from 1.00pm. For emergency care please telephone NHS 24.
