BREAST SCREENING
Eligible patients of the practice will be invited for their breast screening from next week (beginning of October 2024)

The purpose of this is to provide a record of incoming and outgoing calls which can help identify staff training needs/improvement of practice processes, protect staff from abusive or nuisance calls, establish facts relating to incoming/outgoing calls made, eg, complaints.

Community Link Worker Service
PLEASE NOTE - All information patients share with the Community Link Worker Team is treated confidentially. However, if there is a risk of harm to an individual, or of harm to others, then the CLW team have a duty to share that information with an appropriate referral organisation, such as the GP Practice, Emergency Services, or Mental Health services.”
UPDATE TO TELEPHONE LINES AS FROM 19 OCTOBER 2022
Our phone lines are open from 9.00am-1.00pm and 2.00-5.30pm.
We are currently running a restricted telephone service between 1.00pm and 2.00pm Monday to Friday. If your call is about a life threatening condition such as choking, trouble breathing or chest pain, dial 999 to contact the ambulance service. If you require urgent help over lunchtime please call our number – 235245 and follow the instructions given. For any routine requests, please call after 2pm. Thank you
VACCINATION AND IMMUNISATION UPDATE
In line with NHS Highland direction, your GP will no longer be responsible for the delivery of vaccinations and immunisations effective 1st March 2023.
After Wednesday 1 March 2023, NHS Highland will take responsibility for delivering ALL vaccines and immunisations in the community as part of a national vaccination transformation programme. Patients eligible for vaccination will be invited via letter to attend or book the appointment.
Patients can direct questions about child or adult immunisations to the NHS Highland Service Delivery Centre (SDC) helpline: phone 08000 320 339, Mon-Fri, 9:30am-5:00pm. It is requested that patients wait for an appointment letter before calling the NHS Highland SDC to make an appointment.

Community Pharmacies will deliver vaccines and immunisations required for foreign travel. The details of pharmacies providing this service can be found on the NHS Highland website which will continue to be updated as pharmacies go live.
